A new-style Japanese tea blending azuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, freeze-dried in Urahoro Town, with premium stem hojicha (roasted stem tea) from Kyoto.
Tokachi has a large temperature difference between day and night, so crops ripen slowly and high-quality azuki beans grow there.
Kyoto stem hojicha is called "bocha" (stick tea) in the Kaga region. Compared with roasted leaf tea, it has more richness and depth and a sweeter taste.
The sweetness of the azuki beans and the toasty aroma of the stem hojicha come together in a refined, soothing flavor that pairs perfectly with Japanese sweets.
