What first-time buyers often wonder about

I don't like the smell of horse oil. Will it be okay?

Kitaguni Horse Oil is refined and filtered repeatedly, so you can barely detect the animal-like smell typical of horse oil. If you are worried about the smell, you can start by trying the 20g size.

It's an oil. Won't it feel sticky?

A small amount spreads a long way, so it feels less sticky. Warm about two grains of rice's worth in your palm before working it in, and it sinks smoothly into your skin. Using too much is the main cause of stickiness, so start with a little and adjust.

I have sensitive skin. Can I use it?

It contains no parabens, synthetic fragrance, or colorants, and is an additive-free formula of 100% horse oil. It is also chosen by people with sensitive skin and for moisturizing babies. When using it for the first time, it is reassuring to try a small amount on the inner arm or similar first.

Can I stop a subscription partway through?

Yes. There is no minimum number of deliveries. From your account page you can skip, change the delivery date, or cancel at any time. You can sign up from the dedicated subscription page.

How long does the 60g last?

If you mainly use it for face and hand care, one person can expect it to last about 2 months. If you use it on your whole body or share it with family, it will run out sooner. With a subscription, you can choose delivery every 2 months or every 3 months to match your pace.

Should I choose 20g or 60g?

If you are new to it and want to try the scent and feel first, we recommend the 20g. We also offer the Happy Collection (7g × 3), which lets you try Pure, Mint, and Lavender in small amounts. Shipping within Japan is free when you buy two or more 20g jars, or reach ¥3,000 or more combined with other products. If you plan to keep using it, we recommend the 60g, which has a lower price per gram (eligible for the 20% subscription discount).

When will my order arrive?
